SHORT SUMMARY:

Alter Ego Adventures presents a multi-location Sri Lankan boogie featuring jumps from a Y-12 military aircraft, optional Mi-17 helicopter jumps and two itinerary options ending on either 19 or 21 November.

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

Alter Ego Adventures is bringing its international skydiving expedition format to Sri Lanka for an exotic boogie combining world-class jumping with culture, wildlife and tropical landscapes.

Participants will fly into Colombo before travelling through several parts of the island, from the beaches of the southern coast to Sri Lanka’s tea country and the historic Sigiriya region.

The primary jump aircraft will be a Y-12 military aircraft, with additional Mi-17 helicopter jumping options available. The wider itinerary features opportunities to experience leopard and elephant safaris, Buddhist temples, the Nine Arch Bridge, traditional stilt fishermen and Sri Lankan cuisine.

Two itinerary options are available:

  • Main boogie experience: 12–19 November
  • Extended experience: 12–21 November, including the Sigiriya extension

The event includes professional load organizing, photography and safety coordination based on USPA standards. Participants generally require at least 100 skydives and completion of a canopy course. Additional flotation-device requirements apply to wingsuit flyers and participants with 500 jumps or fewer.
